Farncombe will be taking part in a one-day conference on the future of TV advertising on December 11th in London (http://www.futuretvads.com/).
The Future TV Advertising Forum will bring together representatives from the advertising and broadcasting industries to:
- debate the future of television advertising, examining how brands and leading media agencies want to see television advertising evolve;
- listen to how platform operators and technology providers are enabling new forms of advertising; and
- learn from case studies and early adopters on their experience with addressable advertising.
Farncombe will be moderating one of the morning sessions - a panel which asks how technology can drive ad revenues in this area.
The event has attracted some high-level attendees and sponsors: Unilever, Ford, Coca-Cola, ITV, and Channel Four will all be speaking, while sponsors include Ericsson, SeaChange, NDS, Packetvision, and OpenTV.
Early bird conference passes are available until the 25th November or it’s possible to register to watch the event live online free of charge.
Farncombe’s involvement in the event arises from the fact that - in partnership with Plum Consulting - it has recently been working on a major report on the future of advertising technologies.
This is due to be published in the next few months - details will be posted here.
